Organising a mountain biking stay isn’t simply a matter of choosing a destination. It’s about making sure that, once you’re there, everything works: the terrain, access, equipment, recovery and, above all, how smoothly it all fits together. That is precisely what we built our Risoul offer around, at our club hotel “Le 1850”. Offering a reliable, coherent stay suited to real-world mountain biking.

A bike area where you can really ride

The Risoul area offers:

  • 190 km of waymarked trails
  • 18 identified routes
  • Several disciplines: downhill, enduro, cross-country, e-MTB, DH
  • 3 lifts
  • Direct access to the trails from the resort

In practical terms, this means you can vary your rides, tailor routes to your level and string sessions together without unnecessary constraints.

Facilities organised around your riding

What we’ve put in place doesn’t rely on a single space, but on several complementary areas, each with a specific function.

1/ Outdoor terrace (immediate practical area)

  • Repair and maintenance station with built-in tools
(including floor pump + pressure gauge)
  • Full wash area
(water jet, brushes, sponges, microfibre cloths)
  • Outdoor bike racks: 18 spaces
  • 1 e-bike charging point

Aim: to take care of routine maintenance quickly between rides.

2/ Secure storage room (locker / ski area)

  • Built-in mounting and storage system
  • 1 e-bike charging point

For secure, functional storage.

3/ Dedicated indoor room (capacity of up to 18 mountain bikes)

  • Fitted-out, secure space
  • Mounting systems
  • Charging points
  • Additional tools

Capacity sized to accommodate groups or more intensive use over several days

A stay designed to sustain several days of riding

A mountain biking stay isn’t about a single day – it’s about going the distance.

So we’ve structured the offer to let you ride day after day in good conditions:

  • Full board
  • Packed lunches available for rides
  • GPX map of mountain bike routes
  • Access to recovery facilities (SKISEO)
  • Full hotel services

All the spaces have been sized to handle continuous use, including for groups.

Discreet but genuine support

On site, a contact person who is a rider themselves is available.

This isn’t formal supervision, but practical support:

  • advice on routes
  • adjustments to suit conditions or ability
  • help with technical issues if needed

It’s often this kind of detail that makes the difference to a stay.

A clear offer, with no empty promises

The stay is available from €299 per person for 4 days / 3 nights

What’s included:

  • Full-board accommodation
  • Access to mountain biking facilities
  • Access to certain activities (SKISEO, Déval toboggan run)
  • Services and entertainment

What’s not:

  • Bike hire
  • Lift passes
  • Transport

This is a deliberate choice: our offer is aimed at independent, fully equipped riders, and we prefer to be transparent rather than overload the offer.

A simple approach: reliable, coherent, practical

We didn’t set out to create a “spectacular” product.

We’ve built an offer that is:

  • in line with riders’ expectations
  • reliable in practice
  • designed to be used, not just sold

In short: a stay where you can come to ride, and really ride.
