Trois Cols hike – Montbrun-les-Bains
This loop immerses you in the wild hinterland of Montbrun-les-Bains, amid colourful marls and magnificent panoramas. The route crosses three passes, revealing vegetation clinging to the steep slopes and remarkable viewpoints over the region. At the end of the hike, a visit to the medieval town of Montbrun-les-Bains, renowned for its thermal spa, completes the experience. The path alternates between yellow, yellow-and-red and white-and-red waymarking, with a few technical sections requiring good physical fitness. Start from Place de l’Hôtel-de-Ville.
The La Combe hike, starting from Barret-de-Lioure, 10 minutes from Montbrun-les-Bains, plunges you into the heart of the Baronnies provençales landscapes. This hilltop village, once a strategic point between two valleys, reveals its springs and its wash house along the way. Between historic paths and views over the region’s “water tower”, this yellow-waymarked loop offers a lovely immersion in local heritage. Nearby, Séderon rounds off the discovery with its monuments and rural traditions. Start from the town hall. Source: FFRandonnée — Ma Rando
