This loop starting from Reilhanette (30.1 km, 770 m elevation gain) is ideal for gravel enthusiasts. After departing from the military parking lot, you cross Montbrun-les-Bains (3.5 km), a picturesque village with stunning views. At 7.4 km, you follow the Toulourenc Valley, a torrent carving impressive gorges. You continue to the Gorges d’Aulan (8.3 km), before reaching Col d’Aulan (13 km), an 8.6 km climb offering exceptional panoramas of the valley. The return is via the same route, with a finish in Montbrun-les-Bains.
This circuit starting from Montbrun-les-Bains (27.8 km, 660 m elevation gain) is a challenge for experienced cyclists. After departing from the Village des Lavandes, you climb towards Col de l’Homme Mort at 1,211 m altitude, with a moderate 4.38% gradient over 4.8 km. This historic pass, crossed by the Tour de France in 1956, connects the Toulourenc Valley to the Albion plateau. You then tackle Col de Macuègne, offering a splendid and less frequented view, before discovering the picturesque perched village of Barret-de-Lioure, with an unobstructed view of Mont Ventoux.
This cycling classic of 73.3 km and 1,710 m elevation gain is a challenge reserved for experienced cyclists or those seeking their first Ventoux ascent. The start is in Montbrun-les-Bains, a picturesque medieval village, renowned for its thermal baths and stone architecture. At 23.4 km, you begin the legendary climb to Mont Ventoux, with an average gradient of 7.7%. After reaching Chalet Reynard (31.3 km), the final kilometers lead you to the summit (1,909 m), offering spectacular views. The return passes through Aurel, a charming village on the Sault plateau.
