Departing from the Frioul Islands, the Village des Gréements of Vacances Léo Lagrange offers you a multitude of renowned diving sites within the Calanques National Park. From the Frioul archipelago “to the Riou archipelago, passing by” the Planier island, come discover our seabeds.

The Frioul Archipelago

Where you can dive on the wreck of the Junker 88, a German bomber from 1943. This wreck rests at a depth of 53 meters in the Grand Souffre bay, and its remarkable state of preservation makes this site a must for level 3 divers.

The Amphorae at Frioul

A dive offering an introduction to the archaeological environment. This diving site, located under the semaphore of Pomègue Island in Frioul, was the first selected by the DRASSM services to experiment with the immersion of amphorae. It is at a depth accessible to divers of all levels.

The Planier Lighthouse

Planier Island, located off the coast of Marseille, is a popular diving site, famous for its historical wrecks and the beauty of its underwater landscapes. This spot is a real playground for wreck enthusiasts. It houses several must-see remains, such as The Chaouen (pictured here), a cargo ship that sank in 1970, The Dalton, a former merchant ship whose wreck dates back to 1928, and a Messerschmitt BF-109, a World War II fighter plane resting on a sandbank at a depth of 45m.

Each of these wrecks has its own history and transports divers through time, while being a refuge for abundant marine life. They have become ecosystems in their own right.

Moreover, Planier Island is also a no-take zone, ensuring a fully preserved underwater biodiversity. Known for its majestic drop-off, this site offers exceptional perspectives, while being a particularly fish-rich location.

MaïRe Island

Where is the wreck of the Liban, a remnant of a tragic shipwreck that occurred in 1903, accessible to all levels, and the Pharillons, a spectacular site with drop-offs and diverse fauna, ideal for nature lovers.

at Plane Island, which offer you a succession of caves and arches at -18 meters, a true paradise for divers.

Les Moyades, in the Heart of the Calanques National Park

An islet located off the coast of Riou Island, in a no-take zone where underwater hunting and fishing are prohibited, it’s a site highly prized by divers for its underwater richness. Multi-level, it’s suitable for both beginners and experienced divers.

You can dive through a multitude of fish schools and observe numerous protected species, such as groupers and brown meagres. You can also immerse yourself in magnificent schools of barracudas!

Les Moyades is a must-visit diving spot for those seeking an authentic Marseille underwater experience in a preserved natural setting.

Tiboulen Du Frioul, “the Little Rock of Frioul” in ProvençAl

Tiboulen du Frioul is an islet of the archipelago offering dives accessible to all. Renowned for its drop-off down to 38m, its vast coralligenous plateau and its scree will also be suitable for first dives and explorations in shallow waters. You’ll encounter all the characteristic fauna and flora of the Mediterranean: all the usual rock fish, octopuses, groupers, sea bass, moray eels, lobsters…

The Village des Gréements benefits from a long-standing partnership with the Sensations Bleues diving club, The Yellow Boat, affiliated with FFESSM and approved for Nitrox diving. Thanks to this collaboration, our holiday center is perfectly equipped to welcome both beginner and experienced divers. Whether you want to discover the basics of diving or improve your techniques, you’ll find qualified instructors to guide you and high-quality equipment.
