This loop offers an immersion in the wild hinterland of Montbrun-les-Bains, between colorful marls and grandiose panoramas. The route crosses three mountain passes, revealing vegetation clinging to steep slopes and remarkable viewpoints over the region. At the end of the hike, visiting the medieval city of Montbrun-les-Bains, renowned for its thermal springs, completes the experience. The trail alternates between yellow, yellow-red, and white-red markings, with some technical passages requiring good physical condition. Departure from the Town Hall square.
The La Combe hike, starting from Barret-de-Lioure, 10 minutes from Montbrun-les-Bains, immerses you in the heart of the Baronnies Provençales landscapes. This perched village, a former strategic point between two valleys, reveals its springs and wash house along the route. Between historic paths and panoramas of the region’s “water tower”, this yellow-marked loop offers a beautiful immersion in local heritage. The Lavender Path is an easy hike around Sault, in the heart of the blue gold country. This yellow-marked trail allows you to discover lavender cultivation thanks to informative panels along the route. Throughout the path, the landscapes offer magnificent views of the fields and the valley. The starting point is near the Michouilles road, 2 km north of Sault (14 minutes from Montbrun-les-Bains). Along the way, stop to admire the Fontaines farm and the perched villages of Sault and Aurel.
